At all stages, decisions need to be made. The most effective and efficient way to evaluate ideas and options is to review prototypes - whether with users, marketing departments, regulatory boards or internally within our own design teams, only through objective testing can we ensure we meet the Product DNA.
Our in-house prototyping lab and expert model maker network enables us to evaluate ideas as early as possible, and undertake a seamless Design - Prototype - Test - Evaluate - Design approach cycle. 1000s of prototypes later, we have the experience to specify and produce the most time and cost efficient prototypes to gather the feedback required.
Ergonomic investigation: Initially, anthropometrical data will guide us with statistical sizes for our user profiles, but ensuring products 'fit' is only possible though prototyping and physically evaluating. Likewise, evaluation of the emotional and cognitive connections associated with how a product feels and operates requires physical prototypes.
