Sam Weller

Sam worked in collaboration with Lightweight Medical and ELEMENT ZERO_SIX during his final year of study at Brunel University. The problem-led project was a success and was commended in the 2007 D&AD student design annual. The partnership with Lightweight Medical led to a 3 month internship with the Business Environment Partnership, before he joined the team full-time.

Sam has a passion for concept generation, primarily sketching and digital artwork, applying these skills to create products from idea through to manufacture. He also has an interest in future trend forecasting and how this relates to the design of future products.

Prior to this work, during a placement year Sam gained experience in Industrial and packaging design for fast moving consumer goods as well as studying Graphic Design and Rapid Visualisation for 7 months in San Francisco.

Outside of design, Sam enjoys a variety of board based sports including surfing and snowboarding.
