Brian McGuigan

Brian specialises in management and delivery of large scale, multidisciplinary developments in the consumer and medical sectors. Trained in Product Design and Mechanical Engineering, with a Masters in Biomedical Engineering and Sustainable Development, Brian combines a clinical, evidence based approach to product development, with focussed market evaluation and commercial opportunity identification.

By focussing on the user, and through detailed evaluation of the commercial landscape, Brian has delivered a string of award winning, commercially successful products to market, both for blue chip consultancy clients and for ELEMENT ZERO_SIX's internal developments.

With a background in class three invasive surgical devices, Brian has worked across a range of medical areas including telemedicine, neonatal, paediatric, wound management and home diagnostics.

Brian is currently seconded to Onzo as Head of Product Development. Onzo has recently announced that Scottish and Southern Energy, the UK’s second largest energy supplier, has placed orders totalling more than £7m.

Out of the studio Brian takes every opportunity to appreciate the great outdoors, whether on a bike, a snowboard or a tartan rug.
